Wood burning Gifts

One of the easiest crafty DIY projects you can do is wood burning. Whether you have a professional wood burning tool or a Dremel VersaTip that you can purchase at Builders - you can try out a variety of projects that make the perfect gifts. If you are using a Dremel VersaTip, you can purchase special wood burning tips for use with the tool, but I manage quite well with what comes in the kit. Find more Dremel craft projects here.

DIY Make Gifts

Our first DIY project to make is to cut inspirational wording out of SupaWood/MDF to hang on a wall. You can use a jigsaw and scrollsaw blade (thinner blade) to cut out the wording and then drill holes for fairy lights. I like this one as it lets you practice your jigsaw skills and you can create any word you like.

Wood lanterns are another gift that is easy to make using wood, but I do recommend using Meranti or Sapele instead of pine so that it can also be used outdoors.
