Pop into your local Builders Warehouse to buy the largest canvas drop cloth they have in stock. You will find these very affordable, and one drop cloth will easily make a large teepee. You will also need pine dowels to make the frame for the teepee.
If you want to add a colourful pattern or design to your indoor teepee, look around for fabric scraps and acrylic paint in your choice of colours. When using acrylic paint on fabric, after painting use a warm iron on the back of the fabric to seal the paint.
Oh so pretty, these teepees are inexpensive and reasonably simple to make. All you need is canvas and pine dowels to make a teepee, plus a sewing machine and basic sewing skills.

If your prefer something different - you don't have to stick to a conventional design for a teepee... use branches and poles as a substitute for bamboo or pine dowels. Drape the teepee with muslin or lace rather than canvas.
