Heirloom nursery furniture

Designing a nursery is a special joy, and one that you will keep in your heart forever. Imagine being able to dress your new nursery with solid wood, heirloom furniture that can be passed down through generations.

Nowadays, furniture, like many other items, isn't made to last - unless you are prepared to spend a fortune. Where are the days when you bought pieces that could be handed down for future generations? Whilst we know that wood has become a valuable commodity, and we need to reduce the number of trees we harvest, when you think that solid wood furniture lasts a long time, using wood sensibly still has its place.

Bunny & Clyde, founded by Mariëtte Bergh, and sisters, Lisa and Nathalie Vos, have a love of Art and Design and the brand is inspired by design-led sustainability and a love of passing down from generation to generation.

All wood used in the manufacture of Bunny & Clyde furniture is FSC certified as being responsibly sourced from sustainable forests and treated with products that are 100% solvent free and child-friendly. They also believe in a philosophy of local manufacturing and committed to helping to sustain and revitalise small businesses and woodworking tradition. All products in  the range are locally manufactured and designs are all made-to-order by local craftsmen with decades of experience.

The Harrison Cot (shown above) is inspired by fifties design. It is both elegant and playful and hand crafted from solid wood. It combines modern vintage design with the intrinsic beauty of solid wood.

The Harrison Cot offers 3 adjustable mattress positions, and accessibility without the hassle or safety hazard of a drop side. When your child moves into a proper bed, the Harrison Cot converts into a toddler or day bed.

All furniture is designed according to British Safety Standards and made from materials that are 100% child-friendly.

The Coco Cot has functional panels that feature a decorative pattern that complements the rounded curves. A white base accentuates the organic grain of the wood. The Conversion Kit allows the Coco Cot to easily convert into a toddler bed or day bed.

To complement Bunny & Clyde's Coco cot, they also offer storage furniture. The Coco station has alternating wood with white painted surfaces for a design that is playful, yet modern and exceptionally stylish. The dimensions allow you to place a changing mat at the perfect height, while its compact size allows for maximised space.

Soft-closing undermount drawers offer plenty storage and the hand crafted unit combines modern vintage design with the intrinsic beauty of wood. Not only practical in the nursery, but also beautiful in any room.

The Rosaline Rocking Chair is the perfect finishing touch for any nursery and can compliment either the Coco or Harrison Cots.
