Vermont Sales Opens Innovative Trade Exhibition Centre
By revamping their previous head offices into a state-of-the-art small Customer Exhibition Centre, Vermont Sales are now able to showcase world-class brands on a rotating basis
The very successful annual Vermont Sales
Open Day Shows have had to be put on hold due to
Covid and the lockdown restrictions, so the
company came up with a unique alternative. By
converting and revamping their previous head
offices into a state-of-the-art small Customer
Exhibition Centre, they were able to showcase
their world-class brands on a rotating basis,
allowing small groups of customers the
opportunity to view international brands and new
product ranges in an uncluttered environment.
The new centre will include a selecton of tailor-made, private viewing areas for permanent brand exhibits, and the exhibition centre will be set aside for an individual brand or range to be shown each month, as well as new methods of marketing and merchandising in a store environment, along with support material. Products, tools and accessories will also be demonstrated in this space, with a large screen showcasing the various product ranges at work, or for training purposes.
With a focus on the 'brand of the month', the Vermont Sales exhibition centre opened earlier this month to present the range of AirCraft air-powered tools, accessories and a selection of compressors.

time, such as Worx, Pony, CAT, and Bernzomatic,”
said Dale Englebrecht Director Vermont Sales.
“The main focus and priority of the exhbition centre is to reach out to key decision makers from the trade, retailers, and dealers. The small personal groups will allow us to offer dedicated time and service. A comprehensive exhibition will be set up for the full range of products, new and current, merchandising concepts, POP, and POS material, to showcase the brands and allow Vermont Sales Brand Managers, Key Accounts team members and management to meet, and touch base with customers,” said Englebrecht.
Everything on display at the exhibitions is available to the customers, from the product to the customized shelving, racking, the free-standing displays and all POS. This unique setup wlll allow clients to order what they need and walk away with a complete branded readymade stocked display. There will also be very special added value deals for all the display units which will be supplied free to customers depending on the orders placed. The exhibition wil be manned with teams from Vermont Sales who will be on hand during the exhibitions, including sales representatives, brand managers and demonstrators.There is also a full catering set-up and coffee bar where clients can relax and chat with brand experts.
“We had to move fast and come up with an alternative for our trade and retail customers,” said Jacques Davids - Vermont Sales Exhibition Manager. “Setting up the new exhibition centre provided us with the perfect solution, one where we can entertain clients and be available to give them a full day getting to know the various brands that make up our full offering and products and accessories. We have had a very successful test run this month with our current exhibitions in the centre, these being AirCraft, CAT, Bernzomatic and WORX,” said Davids.
The next 'Brand Of The Month' will be for Alpen, CAT, Festool, Rawl Plug, Tork Craft and WORX, begining in September and going into October, and November 2021.
