Winter is the perfect time to sign up for a winter food garden workshop where you can put your acquired knowledge to use in your own home garden. Every year, Spier Wine Farm hosts a series of workshops that focus on getting you get started in the practice of being able to grow good food at home.
Being able to grow your own food-to-table produce is just one of the many ways to become more self-reliant and have the convenience of picking fresh vegetables, herbs and other garden goodies directly from your own garden. Start a home food garden also lets you focus on healthy organic gardening that is free from harmful chemicals.
Three Saturday workshops will be held once a month from August through October 2021.
