Everyone's favourite store, Builders Strubens Valley is the latest Builders store in the group to get a spanking-new revamp for loyal and new customers that want a seamless, slick integrated shopping experience.

Regular DIY and Home enthusiasts and loyal customers may see the same store from the outside, but the new interior layout brings together a new look and feel that incorporates a hybrid of the latest technology. Expect service that educates and inspires customers to make informed DIY, home improvement and construction choices.

Giving customers value-for-money solutions is the drive behind these changes which go beyond the tangible into the arena of convenience and superior customer service. The vida e caffè, adjacent to a meeting hub, brings a new offering for one to host meetings with individuals or groups, a space to work, or an area to relax and surf the internet, and have good quality coffee, beverages and snacks available.

There is a new design and installation hub to give home improvement projects such as kitchen and bathroom remodelling a professional upgrade. Builders can also install many products sold such as air conditioners, ceiling fans and doors, to mention a few.

The home environment continues to be transformed by technology. Builders, together with Vodacom, is a player in this growing sector offering a bespoke service for the digital integration requirements of homeowners. A Smart Home hub will offer customers the flexibility to custom-make solutions for their homes and budgets.

Assemble-at-home modular furniture is growing in popularity and the store will now offer a comprehensive range of the latest trends in furniture solutions that are both high quality and well-priced. Digital and physical displays give customers the opportunity to find the perfect solution for their home and watch ‘how-to’ videos.

Builders is one of the first African retailers to introduce 3D printing in-store making this fairly new technology accessible to the public. Individuals and businesses can develop prototypes, domestic replacement parts, modelling requirements and much more, opening a world of possibilities.

Another new offering that meets current environmental and healthy lifestyle trends is the introduction of an Oasis Water hub. Customers can enjoy a range of filtered water solutions from bottled water and filtration systems to in-store refills.

Some of the other additional features for convenience and ease-of-access include free WIFI and 22 high-definition screens strategically located making it easy to order instore, within specific departments, and shop our extended range of products as well as view promotions and search for product information or inspirational DIY content.
