New Pattex Air Pulse No More Nails & silicone sealer
I'm a big fan of No More Nails and have used the product successfully for varied project. Now a new packaging has arrived and it makes No More Nails even easier to use in and around the home.
I have just tried out the new range of Pattex Air Pulse product range, which covers No More Nails, Sanitary and Universal Silicone. These new containers have an integral pump that makes them ready-to-use and releases an adjustable volume of product. Smooth move...!
How does it work:
After removing the safety tab that is just above the adjustment switch, you can slide the adjustment to control the amount of product release. Must admit to being a bit disappointed that you cannot adjust for a smaller amount, but ideal thickness for sealing around bathtubs, sinks and showers.
After removing the cap you can rotate the nozzle to angle in any direction. Lift the nozzle up and turn to slot in the opposite direction. Nice for hard to reach places like underneath sinks and countertops where it's difficult to reach with a caulking gun.
The product flows smoothly with only a small amount of pressure on the handle, which makes this quick and easy to use. If you suffer from arthritis then you will definitely want to use this product. Also, if you are doing lots of sealing - less hand and finger strain. Is it more expensive? Yes, it costs in the region of R8.00 more per tube than a cartridge. But when you consider that includes the pump, I suppose it balances out the price.
