Perfect fixing every time
I must be honest and admit that Divas are not quite perfect - although we like to think that we are pretty close! There are times when mistakes happen. I have had many Divas tell me how they battle to get a nice hole in a wall for fitting wall plugs snugly. That's OK - not everyone gets it right the first, second, or even third time.
Now it doesn't matter what size hole you drill... fischer Fill & Fix expands to fill any hole, and sets so that you can screw in and out repeatedly.
fischer Fill & Fix consists of a solvent-free polyurethane-based injection compound that is injected in the hole, expands to a defined volume and cures quickly. Suitable for anchoring fixing elements, for filling and repairing stripped holes or as a repair compound for all board materials. When the compound is cured, any screws, eyes, hooks or similar items with diameters from 2 to 6 mm can be easily screwed in and out just like wood. No predrilling required (except for board materials).
fischer Fill & Fix is suitable for all building materials and works well, even in difficult and worn construction materials (old buildings). The contents of the cartridge (25 ml) are sufficient for at least 4 holes 10mm diameter x 50mm depth.
Here s how:
- Snap off the lid and attach the syringe. This combines the 2-part compound.
- Place the syringe in the pre-drilled hole and slowly inject the contents. The compound expands to fill the hole.
- Wait 5 minutes and then remove any excess from the surface with a sharp utility knife.
- The filled hole is now ready to accept your fixing.
The new fischer Fill & Fix injection fixing allows maximum flexibility and very easy installation.
The fischer Fill & Fix is not only for holes, if you incorrectly drill holes in your board product, or wrongly position a hinge hole in a door, you can use fischer Fill & Fix to fill up your boo-boo, wait for it to dry and then carry on as normal.
