Decorex SA is a South African exhibition, hosted in Durban, Cape Town and Joburg, that brings home global industry trends, while also capturing a moment in time - a mood and sense in our lives. For 2019, Decorex SA has unveiled a theme that will inspire and appeal to visitors, designers and industry leaders alike – ‘Designing for Africa – feels like home’.
African style and homegrown comforts influence the Decorex SA 2019 theme, as Decorex brings design inspiration into our homes. And Africa is finally emerging from the shadows in respect of stylistic influence, according to Sian Cullingworth of Reed Exhibitions.

The dynamic African theme ‘Designing for Africa – feels like home’ will be artfully displayed throughout the various features at all three Decorex SA shows throughout 2019. Cullingworth informs that, "We are witnessing a number of emerging markets across the continent, many of them specifically design related or stimulated by African design, and this flow of movement into and out of Africa is drawing organic African style directly into the global trends – and also adding international touches into local décor".
