Living Coral is Pantone's colour of the year for 2019, and you can easily add a splash of this trendy colour to a centrepiece for your dining table, using Rust-Oleum 2X in Coral. Fill your choice of container with a selection of succulents in muted colours and let the coral colour pop!

YOU WILL NEED:

Flower pot or container

Rust-Oleum 2X in Coral

Masking tape

Potting supplies

Selection of small succulents

Piece of string or twine

Newspaper

Rust-Oleum 2X Painter's Touch in Coral is a primer and paint in one can. Use on plastic, ceramic or galvanised tin containers to give accessories a fresh, new look! The Rust-Oleum range of products is available at Builders stores countrywide.

HERE'S HOW:

1. Whatever container your use for this project, use masking tape to mask off the areas you don't want painted. Rust-Oleum 2X spray paint already contains a primer but be sure to clean and dry the container before spraying.

GOOD TO KNOW

For a longer-lasting finish, lightly sand your project before applying spray paint.

2. Place your container on a sheet of newspaper to protect your work surface. Shake the can well and apply light, even strokes from a distance of about 30cm away from the surface. You should not need more than one coat but allow drying time before applying any further coats.
