Paper Flowers for Wall Decoration

There's a new and exciting trend that's popping up on websites around the globe - paper flowers for wall decoration.

If you are looking to add something to your boring walls that is inexpensive, non-permanent, fun and definitely something new, a paper flower wall is something you might want to give a try. Using colourful paper and not much else, these beautiful paper flower arrangements are adorning walls in almost every room in the home, and they look so gorgeous. Who would think that plain coloured paper could be worked into flower shapes to look so good!

You can purchase colourful paper or thin card at most craft or hobby stores, and even at your local supermarket in the stationary aisle. Choose colours that work well together, or colours that you want to use to decorate a particular room. Choose a stiff paper or thin card that will be easy to work with, especially when you need to fold or add dimension by curving petals and leaves. We have included a couple of videos at the bottom of this page that will take you step-by-step through the process of creating your own paper flowers.

If you want to add a bit of colour to a bland wall, using paper flowers to create a unique wall decoration is an inexpensive alternative to artwork.

I have yet to see anything of the like locally, so if you fancy starting up a small home-based business that offers custom paper flower designs, do you research to sass out the market before you go ahead.

Use paper flowers in the perfect colours to decorate a wall in nursery of a little girls bedroom. You can create your own unique flowers to form the perfect arrangement for mounting onto a wall over a crib or cot, or above a wall shelf.

Crafters are offering custom designs that can be personalised with flower colours, flower shapes, as well as a name if you like the idea of adding this to a nursery or bedroom wall. But these paper flower wall decorations can be used in any room to add something unique to walls.

The paper flower wall decorations can be secured onto a wall using Prestik, or hot glue or glue dots if you want something more permanent. Or you can craft your designs on card and mount this onto the wall.
