If there is one part of laundry day that not many love, it's the piles of linen and clothes that need to be ironed. Dragging out the ironing board and standing on your feet for hours isn't fun, but there is one little trick that is extremely affordable and will save you time when working through piles of laundry.
Wrap Ironing Board with Aluminium Foil
If your ironing board has a cover, remove the cover in order to wrap the ironing board with aluminium foil so that the shiny side of the foil is facing up. After wrapping the board, replace the cover and you're good to go!
When the iron is set for 'steam', the aluminium foil forces the heat back up and this is how ironing becomes oh so much easier.
