Home-Dzine reader gives her bedside cabinets a makeover
Roline refurbished two bedside cabinets to give them a more trendy, modern look for her new home. Simply by painting over them with a white enamel paint, she let the paint dry overnight and then pasted wallpaper of choice over the drawers and replaced the knobs.
At a cost of around R100 for the paint and R250 for the wallpaper - A total bargain!
This is an easy project that anyone can do to transform dated or drab furniture. Home-Dzine recommends Rust-Oleum 2X or Gloss Enamel spray for painting over laminate furniture. A little bit of sanding with 240-grit beforehand, and you're ready to paint.
Thanks Roline - your new bedside cabinets look great!
