The Dremel Multitool is not just for crafts and hobbies, you can also use it for so many other tasks in and around the home. For this feature, we are using a Dremel Multitool to clean a pan that has an excess build-up of burnt-on grease around the base.

I am sure that many of you have some pots and pans that have burnt-on grease on and around the base of the pan, or a build-up around the handles. Using a Dremel Multitool with the right accessory easily removes this build-up and leaves your pans looking better than before.

In the image below, you can clearly see how grease has become baked on around the base of this pan. Yes, you could probably remove it with some heavy scrubbing, but it is far quicker to grab your Dremel Multitool and a carbon steel brush and remove it in a fraction of the time - no toxic cleaners required!

To remove baked-on grease or grease stains on the base of your pots and pans, fit a carbon steel brush into your Dremel Multitool, set the speed at about 75% - and you're ready to go.

Hold the tool so that the carbon steel brush won't scratch around the base of the pot. You only want to remove the baked-on grease.
