Herb and Flavoured Butters

Add some flavour to your outdoor cooking and meals with these flavoured butters.

Why season your meals with plain butter when it is so easy to add your own selection of flavours. Brought to you by Le Creuset.

 

 

 

 

YOU WILL NEED:

250g salted butter, divided into 3 portions and softened

Chili Butter

Salt and pepper
2 tsp. sriracha sauce
2 red chilies, finely chopped

Garlic and Chive Butter

3 garlic cloves, finely crushed
3 tbsp. finely chopped chives

Herb Butter

1 tsp. parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp. rosemary leaves, finely chopped
1 tsp. thyme, finely chopped

HERE'S HOW:

 

Chili Butter

1. Place a single portion of butter in a bowl and beat in the prepared sriracha sauce and chilies; season with salt and pepper. Press into a ramekin, cover with cling film and place in the fridge to chill.

Garlic and Chives Butter

Mix the garlic and chives into another portion of butter and season well with salt and pepper. Press into a ramekin, cover with cling film and place in the fridge to chill.

Herb Butter

Take the last portion of butter and beat in the chopped parsley, rosemary and thyme, season well, press into a ramekin, cover with cling film and refrigerate until chilled.
