Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin pie is a traditional American dessert made using mashed pumpkin baked with milk or custard. Try our version and join in the tradition.



  • Serves 4-6

  • 1 roll ready made shortcrust pastry
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 sachet Knorr Nutmeg and Cinnamon Butternut Bake
  • 1 tsp Robertsons ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Robertsons ground cloves
  • 2 cups thick mashed pumpkin, cold
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • ½ tsp Robertsons ground ginger
  • 1 pinch Robertsons ground nutmeg


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine pumpkin, sugar, eggs, Knorr Nutmeg & Cinnamon Butternut Bake, evaporated milk, Robertsons cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg
  3. Stir until smooth and thoroughly mixed
  4. Pour pumpkin mixture into a pastry lined tin
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until set in centre
  6. Keep it savoury or serve with some whipped up cream for a dessert!
