Henkel's Tangit PVC-U Weld adhesive is specifically designed for bonding of PVC-U pressure pipes and fittings, as well as sewage pipes and gutters. The product is well known for its use in securing high-pressure systems and is resistant to chemicals once cured. Tangit PVC-U weld adhesive is formulated to bond by slightly melting the PVC in order to weld PVC to PVC rigid pipes or unplasticised PVC fittings. The product can be used on piping up to 0-16 bar pressure, even though most residential households operate at an average of 6 bar.

Available at your local Builders Warehouse, Tangit comes in 50ml and 100ml tubes, as well as 1 litre tins.
