Build a DIY kitchen and save thousands

A new kitchen can be a very expensive project, but taking the DIY route can save you thousands of Rands and still provide a modern fitted kitchen.

Having installed my own kitchen a few years back, I know how much money you can save by taking the DIY route. Admittedly, this option is not for everyone - or for every kitchen - but if you already have some power tools and the skills to use them, you might want to consider a DIY kitchen installation for the smaller home.

If, like me, you are a fan of Builders Warehouse, you will know that they offer the widest range of DIY and home improvement products under one roof. Now, they have launched a series of publications that offer you practical advice, tops tips, as well as step-by-step instructions and videos to guide you through various projects.
