You will need:
- Kids' table and chairs
- Sandpaper
- Damp cloth
- Low-tack masking tape
- Drop cloth or old sheets
- Primer
- Gloss enamel - 4 colours
- Medium and small paintbrush
Here's how:
Use drop cloths or old sheets to protect the ground. If you're painting new wood or over a dark colour, you may want to use a primer. (Follow the re-coat and dry times.)
1. Remove table legs (if you can). If you can't remove the legs, turn the table
upside down to make the job easier. Apply first colour and leave to dry
completely. Apply a second coat if necessary.
2. Paint one chair with first colour. Allowing for drying and second coat. Don't
forget to paint the bottom of the chair!
3. Paint the three remaining chairs using the other three colours.
4. While the chairs are drying, paint the table top (and underneath) with white.
5. When everything is dry, re-attach the table legs and put in your favourite little
person's play room. Bet you can look forward to a tea party in the next few
days.
