Pastel Shades for Dreamy Girls!

Bubble-gum pink walls glow behind brightly-coloured bedding, pillows, and wall art. Over the window, a unique awning-style valance adds colour and dimension.

Here's how:
This room draws inspiration from the colours used in the patchwork quilt.

- An awning-style valance adds an extra dimension to the   room, giving the room a garden-like feel.

- All the furniture in the room has been given a coat of   white paint.

- Create your own colourful, funky art for mounting on the   wall with pieces of 6mm MDF cut to size and painted with   acrylic paints.

- Cushions are the key accessories in this look. Frilled,   trimmed, brightly coloured and shaped. To create a   shaped cushion, simply purchase a section of foam and   cut to size with your electric carving knife (or a very   sharp serrated kitchen knife) and then cover and   decorate - so easy!
