ABOVE and BELOW: A modern remake on traditional nursery sees furniture being updated and decorated in ways that add a fun element to decorating a nursery. Painted designs are embellished onto drawers, dressers, wardboards, and even cots, to create a theme room that can be further added to with a few select accessories and fabrics.
BELOW: Themed nursery designs will always be popular for decorating a nursery, and favourites - such as Winnie the Pooh - are timeless and adorable, plus having a set theme means that you don't have to rack your brains for ideas. Solid wood furniture accented with green, and adorned with images create a feeling of the Hundred Acre Wood and being surrounded by nature.
BELOW: Modern design based on modular concepts allows for practical and functional nursery furniture. Whilst we, here in South Africa, have yet to see some of these wonderful designs, some local manufacturers are taking the initiative to create our own unique range of nursery furniture.
