Blue Ribbon

A wide tailored valance over the windows shows off a large-scale plaid fabric selected to coordinate with the duvet fabric. The pretty fabric-laced bow detail ties in with the duvet, pillow border, and draperies. Neat blue bows decorate the tablecloth and pillow sham.

Here's how:
- The walls have been decorated using two shades of blue and a   sponging effect. This effect is a great way to add a textured look   to plain walls.

- A checked valance added to the top of the window has been   decorated with blue ribbon. To create this effect; edge and trim   your fabric before sewing on your ready-plaited ribbon.

- This plain circular table has been given a new look with a piece of   fabric hemmed to drape over the sides of the table as a table   skirt.

Design Tip:
Here's where Bostik 'No Sew' comes in really handy. Simply glue the ribbon to the valance.
