Here's how:
General: The overall dimensions of this project are 1955mm long, 100mm wide, and 336mm high. Cut all parts as you assemble the project, using the Cutting List as a guide and adjusting as needed for fit. Join pieces using glue and nails unless otherwise specified. Set all nails, and fill all holes with wood filler. Note: If you don't have all the necessary cutting tools, or need to transport smaller pieces of wood, consider having some of the cuts made at your local Timber City. Be sure to take your dimensions with you.

Assemble the frame
a. Cut the side and end panels per the cutting list. On a flat work surface, place the two end panels between the side panels.
b. Attach the side panels to the end panels. Square the assembly by measuring diagonally and adjusting until the two dimensions are equal.
c. Attach temporary diagonal braces, as shown, to maintain squareness until the bed is assembled completely.
Build and attach the leg assemblies.
a. Cut the legs and leg covers per cutting list.
b. Attach the four leg covers in a pinwheel fashion to each of the four legs (see leg assembly detail).
c. Attach the leg assemblies to the frame assembly.
Install the supports and platform
a. Attach the side and end supports to the side panels and end panels 40mm from the ends of the panels, as shown, using glue and sinkers.
b. Attach the side and end supports to the legs, as shown, using glue and toenailing (nailing at an angle) with nails.
c. Install the platform using glue and sinkers by nailing through the plywood into the supports.
e. Remove the temporary diagonal braces.
Finish the assembly
a. Fill all nail holes, and sand the assembly.
b. Apply a coat of stain, and allow to dry. Apply several coats of polyurethane.
