cut holes in tiles
Previously, when you needed to mount tiles around a pipe, tap, shower head, or anything that was circular in shape, the general procedure was to cut a tile into halves and chip out the required hole with a tile nipper.
With the Tork Craft Diamond Grit Hole Saw, tiling around pipes and circular fittings is now as easy as cutting into butter with a hot knife!
Tried and tested in our DIY Divas Advanced Power Tool workshop, we used the Tork Craft Diamond Grit Hole Saw to cut through tiles to create both small and large holes. The end result was a smooth, perfectly symmetrical holes without any chipping or cracking of the tile.
Here's how:
Insert the diamond grit hole saw into the end of your impact drill and screw tight.
Switch on the drill to about 80% speed setting and hold the drill at a 45-degree angle.
Apply gently to the surface of the tile and as the feel the saw starting to cut, level out the drill and continue to cut into the tile..
