Fresh look for old patio furniture
You can completely transform a tired looking patio set with a coat or two or fresh apple green paint. This is the perfect cafe set in a shady garden, and will add just the right amount of colour!
You will need:
- Metal outdoor table and chair set
- Rust-Oleum Painters Touch - available in over 50 colours
- Sandpaper
- Clean cloth
- Dustcloth
- Face mask
Here's how:
1. Wipe table and chairs clean of all debris.
2. Sand the entire table and chairs to remove loose, flaking paint and provide a good surface. If the table and chairs has been previously painted and needs quite a bit of attention, use paint stripper to take back to its original condition.
3. Spray one coat of Rust-Oleum Painters Touch lightly over the entire set. Stand at a distance of at least 30 cm from the furniture and apply short bursts of paint - don't apply too much at one time or the paint will run.
4. For best outdoor protection, apply a second coat once the first coat has dried properly.
