Make a greenhouse with cd cases
You know I love projects that repurpose household waste in new ways, and I was blown away by Mega Crafty's unique way of using CD cases to make a mini greenhouse. I think it's awesome that we are being inspired to recycle and repurpose in such amazing ways!
There is a detailed tutorial for the project, which can be viewed here, that explains how the entire greenhouse is made using nothing more than cd cases and glue.
All the individual sections are glued together and pieces cut with a craft knife to create the peaked sides. The design even allows for a cd case in the peak that resembles the fan you would find in a real greenhouse - how ingenious.
I'm not going to post the tutorial for this project because it's quite involved, but I am sure that many of you are itching to dig out old cd cases and get started. You have been inspired, so get started...!
