Giving old furniture new life
I do not know if you would be interested in my items. If it helps in any way to enhance and to encourage other women in South Africa to do what I have done in the UK.
I am a South African and started my business here after I decided enough was enough and I do not want to work for a company any longer, I felt as if I had sold my soul to the devil.
Hey presto!
I woke up one morning with and idea and thought to myself, I want to do something that has always been close to my heart and that is recycling furniture.
I started scouring the recycling tips around my area and created all the furniture you see on my site.
I have most of the before and after pictures, however I have not posted them on my webpage.
Here are just a few of the items which I have upcycled.

I now have a small shop and sell most of my items to Europe and the UK.

"Launched in 2005, Home-Dzine was created to realise a dream; to express my love of home DIY and decor and share with other South Africans. As a non-commercial website I am free to express my own opinions and pass on valuable information to readers.
I feel that more people can benefit by being able to DIY home improvement and home repairs. And we're not talking about major DIY home repairs, but those that anyone with a bit of DIY savvy can do themselves."
