Laptop or PC monitor shelf

If your desk is as unorganised as mine, there is an easy way to get more organised - build a laptop or PC monitor shelf. You will immediately have move space on your desktop.
You can easily knock up this laptop shelf in an hour, and that includes the painting as well!
Here's how:
Pop into your local hardware store and ask for offcuts - or perhaps you already have a few pieces lying around at home. You will need to small pieces for the sides and a long piece for the top of the shelf.

Use metal angle braces to attach the sides to the top with wood screws.
DIY Tip:
Make sure that you use small screws so that they will not go right through the wood.
Sand everything nice and smooth before painting with two coats of Rust-Oleum Painters Touch in your choice of colour.
