The perfect gift for a DIY Diva
I have finally got my Dremel Trio and have managed to find the time to have a quick try out - amazing!

After unpacking and perusing the instruction manual it was time to head out to the workshop and get plugged in.
Using a piece of 3mm PG Bison SupaWood, I started off with a basic combined drill/cutter bit and plunged straight into the board for a quick curvy cut, without any problems whatsoever.
This tool would be perfect for fret and scroll work. For example: cutting out detail in a headboard or frame.

Changing bits and accessories
Changing the bits is easy. Simply press in the locking button at the front and use the wrench provided to screw and unscrew the locking nut.
The tool only comes with a small selection of bits and accessories, so you will need to start a collection for the various projects that you want to do.
Cutting dadoes and slots
This was extremely easy and I'll definitely be using my cutting tool to make up some CD and DVD racks. It's a far simpler process than using a Router - and anyone looking to buy a router for small projects may want to take a look at this amazing tool first.
The Dremel Trio comes complete with a guide rail, so that straight lines are straightforward. Even a beginner could use this tool.
Decorative edges
This is definitely the accessory that I am going to be using the most. I find the Router too heavy and cumbersome, whereas the Dremel Trio is so light and easy to maneuver.
You can use the tool to finish off doors, picture frames, in fact any project where you want a decorative edge.
So many uses
With the Dremel TRIO you can cut, sand and rout with one small, yet powerful tool. It's perfect for projects in and around the home.
- Add a decorative edge to furniture projects - the router function allows you to create different edge profiles on a wide range of timber and board products.
- With the cutting bit you can create dadoes and slots - cut out slots for mounting shelves, fitting glass and mirror inserts and other DIY projects
- The plunge and cut bit allows you to create designed or freehand cut outs in timber and board for a decorative effect

Cut wood, plastic, drywall, sheet metal, wall tile and more with one tool. The unique 360-degree cutting technology and plunge-cut ability allows users to make quick and controlled cuts, while its unique, 90-degree pivoting handle facilitates added control, comfort and accuracy.
Plus, the kit comes complete with TRIO sanding and routing accessories and attachments, so this tool will complete your project from start to finish!
