Running DIY workshops for over 15 years, I have often hosted workshops where those attending were surprised at what a jigsaw could actually do. Many people think that a jigsaw is just for cutting straight lines but that is not the case. You can use a jigsaw for cutting detailed curves, cutting round corners, cutting angles as a substitute to a mitre saw, and many other tasks. In this article, we discuss uses for a jigsaw as well as some of the more popular jigsaw brands on the market.
