DIY giant jenga game

I came across quite a few tutorials for this giant jenga game that is so easy to make using pine and then all you need are some friends to let the fun begin!

To make your own giant jenga name all you need are some lengths of 20 x 67mm or 32 x 67mm pine from your local Builders. Leave the blocks raw or paint the ends in bright colours with craft paint - or try this wonderful idea for staining wood with food colouring.

Use a mitre saw, jigsaw or table saw to cut the planks into 250mm lengths.

GOOD TO KNOW:
Measure and cut, measure and cut, to make sure all the pieces are exactly the same length.

After cutting 60 (or more) blocks, round off the edges with 120-grit sandpaper and then sand smooth with 240-grit sandpaper.

Paint the ends of the blocks using acrylic craft paint.
