Make your own Bar Clamps

Bar Clamps are a costly investment and one that not many amateur DIY enthusiast can afford. Rather than have to fork out for bar clamps - if you are prepared to put in the time and effort you can make your own.

Bar Clamps are a costly investment and one that not many amateur DIY enthusiast can afford. However, there are projects where clamping is necessary when gluing projects, and rather than have to fork out for bar clamps - if you are prepared to put in the time and effort you can make your own.

The bar clamps featured here, while not being heavy duty, still have plenty of clamping pressure for any glue up and will still last for years.

Because this project has quite a few steps, and the measurements are in metric, I have included the video below for easy instructions for making a pair of Bar Clamps. Alternatively, click here to download a PDF version of the project.
