Wrap your serviettes with this fluttering butterflies and add a touch of springtime to your table setting. All you need for this project is a butterfly punch, and you will find this at most craft and hobby shops, or online at scrapbooking supply stores. Cut out colourful butterflies and attach these with sticky dots to a thin strip of ribbon.
Don't wait for spring when you can dress up plain serviettes with patterned posy rings made from patterned scrap paper.
Transfer a daisy shape onto a piece of patterened paper and cut out. You will also need a centre circle for the flower shape. Use double-sided tape to attach the circle to the flower shape and then attach the flower to a paper strip. Tape the ends of the strip together to form a serviette ring.
These festive paper lanters are easy to make out of wrapping or scrapbook paper and you can coordinate the colours to match the occasion.
Cut a piece of wrapping paper to fit around a glass candle votive, allowing an extra bit for fastening. Fold the paper in half lengthwise and cut slits 1cm apart along the folded edge, stopping 2cm from the open edges. Unfold and wrap around the glass votive, securing with tape or hot glue.

Fold a piece of tissue paper accordion-style. An odd number of folds keeps both open edges facing down for a nicer flower shape. Wrap a piece of thin wire along the middle and twist to secure.
Gently spread out each fold on both sides of the flower. Then carefully lift each layer of tissue paper away from the others, slowly pulling upward. Once the layers are completely opened, shape the petals to create a lush blossom.
