Wallpaper love !
Although we don't have access to the same lovely wallpapers that they have overseas, Builders Warehouse have a fair selection of affordable wallpapers and there's nothing to stop you using fabric as a replacement for wallpaper - and we do have some wonderful fabrics.

Not just for walls, there are so many other ways to incorporate wallpaper designs.

I like the idea of being able to use wallpaper to give furniture a new look, or adding a new lampshade for a splash of colour.
The trick is to use vinyl or washable wallpapers, or apply a couple of coats of clear acrylic sealer over the top of fabric.
Want to spruce up a dated coffee or side table? Wallpaper or fabric cut outs can be applied to the table and finished off with acrylic sealer for a durable surface that is easily wiped clean.

If you're daunted by the task of applying wallpaper to an entire wall, why not apply wallpaper to a sheet of 3mm PG Bison SupaWood and then frame it to create a wall with instant impact.
This is a great idea for those renting a home and where the landlord won't allow you to hammer in a single nail - let the board stand up against the wall.

Even a small area can look good when dressed with the right wallpaper pattern. In this predominately white home office, the grey wallpaper adds impact and just the right amount of pattern and colour.

Think outside the box - the wallpaper box in this particular instance. Who needs wallpaper when newspaper works just as well. Having assisted a friend decorate her contemporary bathroom with wallpaper I think this offers an easy way to add interest to walls on the cheap. However, you need to avoid air bubbles and wrinkles when pasting each sheet onto the wall, and it must be finished off with two coats of acrylic sealer.
