If you're still painting interior doors with a paintbrush, chances are you are left with a surface that isn't very smooth. No matter how hard you try you will always have brush strokes on the finish.
A Random Orbit Sander is the best sander for this type of project. These sanders do an excellent job of removing surface defects when equipped with the right paper. I also recommend that you use a Bosch Random Orbit Sander, as these are fitted with a Micro Filter System that allows dust to be channelled from the project surface into the filter container, allowing for dust-free sanding and less mess. If, when you start to sand, you don't see any dust and the paper has started to clog with paint, stop sanding and leave the paint for another few days. Once you start sanding, the surface of the door should be very smooth to the touch after you run the sander over it a couple of times. Sand the entire surface with 240-grit sandpaper. Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth to remove all the dust.
