You will need:
- 240-grit sandpaper
- Masking tape
- Paint brushes
- American Accents Burnished Gold Designer Metallic
- American Accents Matte Clear spray paint
Here's how:
1. Lightly sand the wooden trim of the chair.
2. It's a good idea to remove any upholstered areas before starting, but if you can't carefully cover the edges of the upholstery with masking tape so that when you paint, you will not get paint on the fabric.
3. Paint the wooden trim with the Designer Metallic Burnished Gold spray paint. Allow to dry according to directions on the can.
4. Apply a second coat if needed. Allow to dry thoroughly.
5. Protect the gold finish with a clear coat of American Accents paint. Allow to dry per directions on can.
Rust-Oleum products are available at your local hardware store, or email Home-Dzine directly for details on a supplier in your area.
