Punched Metal Bucket

Bare metal buckets are ideal for applying raised punched metal patterns. You can practise your technique on any tin you can find.

You will need:
- Metal bucket
- Felt-tipped marker pen (permanent)
- Blunt nail or punch
- Hammer
- Cloth
- Benzene

Here's how:
1. Draw your pattern on the inside of the bucket with the permanent marker. Use any repeated curves or angles that you fancy.

2. Rest the bucket on a piece of wood to protect your work surface. Tap the nail with a hammer, keeping the dents regularly spaced.

3. Continue hammering the pattern all over the inside of the metal bucket.

4. Use a cloth and benzene to remove the pen marks.
