You will need:
- DecoArt Patio Paint: Cobalt Blue, Robin's Egg Blue
- Brushes
- Water container, Paper towels, Palette or foam plate, masking tape, fine sandpaper, clean cloth
- Wood garden bench
Here's how:
1. Lightly sand piece to remove any rough spots. Wipe with a clean cloth.
2. Basecoat entire bench Cobalt Blue. Allow to dry thoroughly.
3. Mask off evenly-spaced stripes on top using masking tape. (Use photo as a guide.) Paint stripes Robin's Egg Blue. Remove tape immediately.
4. Mask off and paint front and back sections as shown, following photo as guide.
5. Allow paint to dry thoroughly.
Design Tip:
Do not let paint dry before removing tape. If left to dry, tape may pull off paint. |
