How to transform everyday junk into useful items
I recently stumbled upon Funky Junk Interiors during one of my many forays on the Internet. Anyone interested in serious recycling will be amazed at some of the great projects they have on their website.

ABOVE: Recycled pallets and scraps of wood are used to make this funky junk TV stand.

ABOVE and BELOW: An old garden fence is transformed into beautiful and functional window screens.

ABOVE: Who would have thought that an old mattress spring could be transformed into a useful information centre.

ABOVE: Old trestles, a repurposed stepladder and lots of scrap wood go a long way to creating a comfy home office. BELOW: This old armoire provides plenty of storage shelves when upcycled into a home office.

BELOW: Old pallets are sanded and made into an office desk.

BELOW: There are even plenty of garden projects that use recycled pallets, reclaimed timber and other junk in clever ways.
