You will need:
- Fabric Paint - White, Avocado, Green, Dark Chocolate, Black, Red, Olive Green, Pale Green, Cream
- Linen Place Mats and Napkins
- Pencil
- Artists' paint brushes and liner brush
Here's how:
Outline your design onto the place mat and napkins with a pencil.
Stems
Basecoat with dark chocolate, using liner brush. Through centre of stem, incorporate avocado and olive green. On the upper part of the stem, highlight with cream and white. On lower part, shade with black.
Leaves
Basecoat all leaves with yellow. Go over basecoat with a thin coat of avocado, allowing some of the yellow to show through. Bring in some pale green and yellow to the upper part of the leaf and blend these two colours together gently. Darken the area where the leaves turn to create shadow with dark chocolate and a little black. Using spruce green, create curved lines through the centre of the leaf, making smaller lines to the left and right sides. Incorporate dark chocolate on the tip of the leaf.
Berries
Basecoat holly berries with yellow. Then add Red. Add dark chocolate to add shading. Use a fine brush dipped in white to make a small mark for highlight on some berries. On the bottom of some of the berries, make a small mark with the brush dipped in black.
