Funky painted chairs

Don't you just love these colours. I think they would look lovely outdoors on the patio or deck alongside a table dressed in a colourful tablecloth, and lots and lots of lovely fresh flowers in vases.

I love browsing through secondhand stores - there are always a few surprises waiting for you just around the next piece of junk.

Transforming four cheap chairs into a kaleidoscope of colour is easy with a few cans of Rust-Oleum 2X Painters Touch spray paint.

Preparation
Before you start paint, do any preparation that might be required to get the chair - or other piece of furniture - ready for painting. You might need to do some sanding or stripping to remove layers of paint or varnish, or it might be as simple as giving the chair a light sanding.

Painting
Paint on the base coat colour and then use paper and painter's tape to mask of those areas not to be sprayed with the second colour.

GOOD TO KNOW :
Don't use newspaper to mask off as the ink will damage the first coat of colour. Make sure that painter's tape is secure around paper edges to avoid spraying onto the first coat of colour.

Grab a can or two of Rust-Oleum 2X spray paint and have fun!
