Make a jewel-tree for your jewellery!
A well dried out branch makes the perfect jewellery hanger for necklaces. We're calling this our jewel-tree.

Here's how:
1. All you need for this project is a decorative branch that has been allowed to dry out thoroughly - hang outside in the garden for a month or so.
Select a branch that has a fair amount of thick, sturdy shoots that will be able to support your jewellery.
Pick off all the leaves and any small offshoots.

2. I used Rust-Oleum 2X spray paint in Espresso Brown to coat the branches.
Of course, you can choose any colour you like. Rust-Oleum Universal spray paint also comes in a wide range of metallic finishes.
3. Cut a pine block 6 cm x 12 cm in shape and use a wood bit to drill a hole in the centre that is the same size as the branch. Only drill to half the depth of the wood. Pop a small amount of wood glue into the drilled hole and place the branch firmly in place. Let the glue dry.
