Metallic flower pots
When most people think of indoor plants they think ferns and ficus, but potting up painted flower pots with different varieties of grass has become a very popular trend.

Grass is such a versatile design element that it can really reflect and enhance almost any decorating style, so it’s important that your container fits that style. Plain clay or plastic pots are ideal for painting with any Rust-Oleum spray product, and we'll show you how.

You will need:
Clay or plastic pots
Grass seedlings
Rust-Oleum Universal Metallic spray
You will find all these supplies at your local Builders Warehouse.

Here's how:
Make sure the pots are nice and clean before you take them outdoors, place them on some newspaper and lightly spray.
Add a twist of thin, metallic ribbon to dress up the top of the pot.
Use a fast draining potting mix and place small pebbles at the bottom of the pot to aid drainage. Leave about an 3cm from the top of the pot and level it off.
