Rest Your Head

Create a place of quiet retreat and peaceful relaxation without sacrificing great style.

You will need:
- 2 PG Bison SupaWood boards (total width = width of bed)
- Clean, damp cloth
- Wood screws
- Drill
- Masking tape
- Foam roller
- American Accents White Primer
- American Accents Sandstone Mountain Lake spray paint
- Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Light Blue Hammered paint

Here's how:
1. Because you'll be using spray paint, find a spot outdoors and use a drop cloth to protect nearby items from spray mist.

2. Wipe the boards clean with a slightly damp cloth.

3. Lay flat over a few boxes or bricks so that the panels are a few centimetres above ground. Spray the Mountain Lake paint following directions on the can. Let dry completely.

4. Mask off a rectangular area. Roll on Hammered Light Blue paint following the directions on the can. As the paint dries, you'll see that the texture comes alive. It looks and feels kind of like an orange peel.

5. Once completely dry, remove the tape and affix to your wall with plugs and screws.

Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Hammered hides flaws and imperfections found in scratched, rusted or pitted metals. Apply directly over rust. Works on wheelbarrows, lighting fixtures, wheel rims and other metals as well as wood, concrete and masonry.
