Shaker bathroom accessories

Who would have imagined that an old stepladder could easily be turned into a stylish bathroom accessory. Never have to worry about towel hooks all over the place, and if you have a big family like I do, there never seems to be enough places to hang towels.

An old ladder transforms for easy bathroom storage  
 

Ladder in hand, sand down and remove all previous traces of paint. If the ladder has been well used, start of with an orbital sander and medium-grit sandpaper. Finish off with a fine-grit sandpaper. Clean to remove all dust before applying two coats of satin enamel, since the ladder is going to be used in the bathroom. And there you have it.

 Add towels in colours to coordinate with your decorating scheme
